Welcome

Welcome to joesalvatore.com!

As an artist and an educator, I wanted to build a site that reflects the duality of my work. I firmly believe that the artist and the educator can reside in the same body, thus defying the old adage that those who can't do it, teach it. In my experience, the best artists are often the best teachers, so it's important that we all find ways to pass our craft on to others. Without artist teachers, the craft dies.

This site is a work-in-progress, so stop back to see updates, added images, and original essays on art and education. Any feedback is welcome, so please email me at js1655@nyu.edu.

Best wishes,

joe
